Jesse Thissen is Chief Operating Officer at Physiomics, bringing extensive experience in statistics, clinical development and data-driven decision-making across large pharma, biotech and CRO environments. He has worked across a broad range of disease areas and phases of drug development, with particular expertise in adaptive designs, clinical trial simulations and advanced statistical modelling.
Jesse joined Physiomics as Head of Biometrics, where he established and grew a revenue-generating biometrics service line. As COO, he supports the continued scaling of Physiomics’ service offering, strengthening operational delivery, service-line development and data-led decision-making across the business.
He is passionate about fostering collaboration between statisticians, modellers and wider study teams to ensure quantitative insights translate into robust study designs, efficient development decisions and meaningful advancements in healthcare.
Jesse holds an MSc in Statistics from the University of Southampton and a BSc in Psychology from Tilburg University.
