Ghaith is a pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) modelling specialist with experience in both industry and academic environments. He received his PhD from Cardiff University under the supervision of Professor Mark Gumbleton, where his research focused on the discovery and development of cannabinoid-based therapies for inflammatory bowel disease. He subsequently held a lectureship in pharmacokinetics at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, where his work centred on translational PK/PD modelling for neglected tropical disease and malaria and then went on to work as a PK/PD modeller at Boehringer Ingelheim.
Ghaith has contributed to a wide range of projects including anti-infectives, inflammatory disease, oncology, and veterinary applications, with expertise in compartmental and non-linear mixed effects modelling, dose optimisation, and quantitative systems pharmacology.
