Physiomics Technology in continued and expanded
support of Lilly's Oncology Programs
Physiomics plc (AIM: PYC), the Oxford, UK based systems biology company, is pleased to announce
that it has signed a further agreement with Eli Lilly and Company ('Lilly') (NYSE: LLY), the
global pharmaceutical company, to perform two new projects for in silico simulations in the
field of oncology. Financial details of this agreement have not been disclosed. This follows
the successful completion earlier this year of a specific project studying cancer cellular
processes for drugs targeting the cell cycle (the natural process of controlling cell proliferation).

Physiomics to present on Chronotherapy at the Annual Meeting of American
Association of Cancer Research (“AACR”)
Physiomics plc, the Oxford, UK based systems biology company, is pleased to announce that
it will be participating in the 2008 AACR Annual Meeting, taking place in San Diego, on 12-16 April 2008.
Dr Eric Fernandez will present a development update on the Company’s chronotherapy research program,
as part of the EU funded TEMPO (Temporal Genomics for Tailored Chronotherapeutics) project. The abstract
will be published in the 2008 Proceeding of the AACR and will be presented in the poster session “Cellular
and Molecular Biology 8”, scheduled for 1:00 pm on 13 April.

MOU with Swansea University (access to Supercomputer “Blue C”)
Physiomics plc, the Oxford, UK based systems biology company, is pleased to announce that it has signed a
Memorandum of Understanding ('MOU') with the Institute of Life Science of Swansea University,
which will provide mutual benefits. Under the terms of the MOU, Physiomics will have access to the
Supercomputer “Blue C”, one of the most powerful computers in the world dedicated to Life Science
and is the result of a collaboration between the University, the Welsh Assembly Government and computer
giant IBM. This will reinforce Physiomics’ modelling framework and help to address the ever increasing
computing requirements in the field of System Biology.

Physiomics Collaboration Update – Cancer Cell Death Model Developed
ValiRx, the cancer therapeutics company, today announces that Phase 1 of its collaboration
with Physiomics plc, the European systems biology simulation company, has been completed.
Under the collaboration, originally announced in February 2007, Physiomics’ In Silico simulation technology
has been successfully coupled with ValiRx’s GeneICE technology to generate a cancer cell death model – the
Apoptosis Model.

UK Patent Registered to Physiomics
Physiomics plc has received formal notification from the UK
Patent Office of registration to it in the UK of European Patent 0 937 286,
which covers its SystemCell™ simulation technology. The corresponding US
Patent 6,446,055 was granted on 3 September 2002 and assigned to Physiomics
on 14 November 2002.

Physiomics plc and Cronos Therapeutics Ltd (now ValiRx plc) have entered into an alliance
whereby Physiomics will use its novel in silico technology to select optimal targets
for the highly-selective GeneICE technology from Cronos Therapeutics. The alliance
will then codevelop the lead GeneICE constructs.
