| Combined PK-PD Modelling Combined PK/PD modelling directly relates drug dosing regimens to drug effects in different tissues. As drugs often have different concentration-dependent effects in different tissues, the approach is more powerful than considering either pharmacokinetics or pharmacodynamics individually. In addition, the full impact of drug-drug interactions that may occur in both PK and PD processes can be considered together, and this may be especially relevant for combination therapy. The combined PK/PD approach therefore facilitates predictions of new dosing regimens for drugs of interest. Physiomics is currently developing combined PK-PD technologies in the following projects:
